What Personal Data We Collect and Why We Collect It
As a non-profit organization that promotes our members, the Bridgewater Business Association (BBA), uses your company name, contact name, address, phone number, and email address as a way for your prospects and the BBA to contact you. This is information you provide to us when you apply for membership and can be changed, by you, at any time by logging in to your member account. Our newsletters are are sent to members and various businesses in the area and may include this information. Those who receive our newsletters may unsubscribe. We also publish an annual directory of our membership that includes this information. The directory is mailed to households in Bridgewater and surrounding communities.
Security
We utilize Authorize.net for all credit card transactions including, but not limited to, membership dues and fees to attend our events. There are no credit card records held by the BBA or on our website. Payments made through our website do not show entire account numbers and are not shared with any other organizations. Our adminstrators are only able to see the last 4 digits of the credit card.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you register to become a member, we store the personal information you provide, and share it as previously described. You can edit your own information and administrators can also see and edit that information.
What Rights You Have Over Your Data For Contact Information
If you have an account on this site, you can change your contact information at any time by logging in. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
